Bella Hadid made her second appearance of the season during fashion month, walking the runway for Saint Laurent’s Fall/Winter 2026 show in Paris on March 3. The supermodel graced the catwalk in a plunging burgundy bodysuit that featured intricate lace embroidery. The sultry garment was styled with a sheer black midi skirt that boasted the same lace detailing. The look was completed with razor-thin brown stockings and a pair of pointed-toe heels.

For a touch of glitz, a pair of statement earrings and a large ring were added to the ensemble. Bella’s blonde locks were slicked back while her makeup oozed heavy glam, courtesy of a purple eye shadow and dark berry lip by Pat McGrath.

At its core, the naked dressing trend is defined by its barely-there materials, sheer mesh, metallic knits, chainmail, lace, and airy organza all play a part in its ethereal appeal.

Creative director Anthony Vaccarello celebrated the maison’s 60th anniversary of the female black tuxedo suit. The show opened with eight trouser suits adorned with sloping shoulder silhouettes plucked from men’s tailoring. What followed was a series of silicone-crafted lingerie dresses, modeled by Bella and other runway stars.

Underwear-as-outerwear

The lingerie-inspired looks are part of the broader underwear-as-outerwear trend that continues to blur the line between lingerie and evening wear that’s been peppering the runway in the past few seasons. Romantic slip dresses were championed during the spring/summer 2024 shows, with the likes of Coperni, Gucci and Versace all embracing iterations of the whimsical négligée. With delicate mesh, sumptuous silk, intricate lace, and flirtatious hems, the look is defined by classic evening wear with a daring twist.

The supermodel was spotted wearing Saint Laurent’s Amalia Hobo Bag in Lambskin during her outing in the French capital. The black bag was styled with a simple white T-shirt and a pair of fitted light-wash jeans. Bella sported her new blunt bangs in a fresh, blonde-highlighted hue.

Bella Hadid in Milan

Bella’s Paris appearance comes after she walked four times in Prada’s autumn/winter 2026 show in Milan. With each exit, she shed a layer, unveiling an entirely new look.

The model’s first look featured a boxy, bomber jacket styled with a tulle-overlaid printed skirt and studded boots. Once the jacket was shed, Bella revealed the airy organza blouse that lay beneath. The third look consisted of a white apron dress, while the fourth showcases a gray wool vest and nylon shorts.

“It allows an exploration of the infinite, ever-shifting facets of her character,” read the show notes.
