Barry Manilow has postponed upcoming concert dates in Las Vegas to focus on his health.
The music icon, 82, announced on Wednesday that heās rescheduling his Feb. 12 to Feb. 21 residency shows at Westgate Las Vegas after undergoing surgery for his lung cancer diagnosis.
āIām doing great and recovering very well after my surgery,ā Manilow wrote in an Instagram statement. āIāve been getting exercise and spending some time in the studio, which has been fantastic.ā
āWith my doctorās guidance and recommendation, however, we have decided to postpone my residency dates at Westgate Las Vegas from February 12-21 so I can stay focused on healing and getting ready for the tour thatās kicking off at the end of February,ā the āCopacabanaā singer continued.
āHaving a few weeks to rest and prepare is what the doctor ordered!ā he added in his statement.
Manilow also noted that tickets for the postponed Vegas shows will be refunded.
Manilow is set to take the stage next on Feb. 27 at Benchmark International Arena in Tampa, Florida, before he returns to Westgate Las Vegas for three nights at the end of March.
His 2026 farewell tour will last until April 29, with his final show being at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia.
Manilow announced in December that doctors found a cancerous spot on his left lung that required surgery.
āItās pure luck (and a great doctor) that it was found so early,ā Manilow told fans. āThatās the good news.ā
The Grammy Award winner explained that doctors were fairly certain his cancer did not spread, but he was taking tests āto confirm their diagnosis.ā
āSo, thatās it. No chemo. No radiation,ā he shared. āJust chicken soup and I Love Lucy reruns.ā
But due to the diagnosis and surgery, Manilow was forced to reschedule the January shows on his āChristmas A Gift of Loveā concert series.
āIām very sorry that you have to change your plans. Just like you, we were all looking forward to the January shows and hate having to move everything around,āĀ he said in his December statement.
Last June, Manilow opened up toĀ BillboardĀ about his decision to embark on the farewell tour.
āItās like, āWhat? Am I the only one left?āā he toldĀ the outlet. āItāsĀ Billy Joel, andĀ Elton [John]Ā is not well andĀ Rod [Stewart]Ā andĀ Neil [Diamond].Ā Diana RossĀ is still in great shape, I think.ā
āThere must be only a handful of people in my world that are still there,ā he continued. āIām still healthy. Iām strong and Iāve still got my voice and my energy. The night I canāt hit the F natural on āEven Now,ā thatās the night I throw in the towel. But I can still do it.ā
