Paige DeSorbo has a new man in her life following a split from Craig Conover, according to Conoverâs Southern Charm costar and friend, Austen Kroll.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen that aired on Thursday, Jan. 30, Kroll was asked about rumors that DeSorbo had âmoved on with another guyâ post breakup. And he didnât mince words with his response.
âI donât think that those are rumors,â said the Trop Hop owner, 37. âI think that theyâve been substantiated and I think Craig knows as such. You know, he didnât know for a minute, but yeah â I think that heâs fully com to terms with that. Thatâs not a rumor.Â
PEOPLE reached out to DeSorbo for comment.
In recent weeks, DeuxMoi has reported sightings of DeSorbo with sports executive Joe DâAmelio. The two spent New Yearâs Eve together, the outlet claimed, and have been seen this month at an NFL game in Philadelphia, at DeSorboâs tour stop in New York City and on vacation together in Miami.
The Summer House star, 32, dated Conover, 35, for three years long distance, she in New York City and he in Charleston, South Carolina. She announced their breakup in an episode of her Giggly Squad podcast published on Monday, Dec. 30, noting the two âhave decided to no longer be together.â
She didnât reveal what caused the breakup, but hinted that it had nothing to do with anything deceptive. âNot to sound traditional and old fashioned, this is not a situation where I have, like, a 50-part series of âWho the fâ was I dating?ââ she told podcast co-host Hannah Berner. âCould not be more opposite of that.â
âNo one did anything. It wasnât a bad thing,â she continued. âI think we both were just being really mature and saying what we want and what we didnât want, and I think thatâs extremely powerful to be able to voice how youâre feeling in real-time and what you want for your future.â
âIt was just the right decision for both of us moving forward in our lives and the direction in our lives that we didnât force,â said DeSorbo.
Meanwhile, Conover opened up about the breakup on his Instagram Stories on Jan. 7,
âI figured itâs finally time to check in with everyone. Sorry about the delay, this has all been very, very unexpected to say the leastâŠâ he said. âBut I guess I gotta start living again, whatever that looks like. Whatever my new normal looks like â I have to start.â
The Sewing Down South star went on detail how the split came as surprise to him. â[It happened] right before the holidays,â Conover shared. âI was very shocked. And itâs OK. It takes two people to be in a relationship and you canât control other people, you can only control how you react to it. Remember to be kind to Paige and me and yourselves and all of that good stuff.â
âIâm still processing everything, which is normal,â he continued. âItâs a three-year relationship, itâs your best friend who you talk to all day everyday, and then theyâre just gone. So, you know, one day Iâll be able to talk more on it.â

Elsewhere on WWHL, Kroll said that he was not surprised by their breakup. âThe writing was on the wall and I knew something was amiss for a moth or so before I heard the news,â he said.
Fellow Southern Charm guest Patricia Altschul agreed. âIÂ thought that Paige was mean to Craig. I did.â she said. âAnd if you think back, Naomi [Olindo] was mean to Craig. And I think he deserves somebody who would really love and cherish him. Because remember, he said to her, âI want to get married and have kidsâ and she said, âBleh?â â
âI mean, she definitely was the dominate person in the relationship,â Kroll added. âThatâs a nice way of saying it.âÂ
Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen airs Sunday through Thursday evenings on Bravo.
