Christopher Schwarzenegger said hasta la vista to his old physique.
Arnold Schwarzeneggerâs son flaunted his inspiring body transformation while out in Malibu on Friday.
The 27-year-old â whose mom is Maria Shriver â appeared slimmed-down, wearing a navy crewneck, white joggers and gray sneakers.
The businessman accessorized with a University of Michigan baseball hat â his alma mater â and a watch.
Christopher has been vocal about his weight loss journey over the past few years.
Last May, he spoke out about the weight loss transformation while attending Beacher Vitalityâs Happy & Healthy Summit in Los Angeles.
âIt was a big process,â Christopher said during a panel, per People, explaining that he began modifying his lifestyle when he was living in Australia back in 2019.
âI just saw how much my weight was prohibiting me from doing the everyday activities,â he shared with the panel â which included Kelly Osbourne, who has had a drastic physical transformation of her own.
âI was like, âI want to go skydiving,ââ Christopher recalled. âAnd my friends were like, âYeah, no shot,ââ to which he agreed.
He added, âI was like, âYeah, I canât skydive.ââ
Christopher also divulged that his body image issues stretched back to high school. âI tried everything,â he admitted at the time, adding that he was âdoing meal delivery things in high school.â
He shared with the crowd that he remembered âfeeling like a weirdo when I was bringing weird lunches to school.â
Christopher also noted that his gradual weight loss was ânot an overnight thing,â explaining that it âtook a lot of trial and error.â A fitness regimen and diet changes were among his strategies for an overall healthier lifestyle.
Christopher also âgave up bread for Lentâ â which lasts 40 days â and lost â30 pounds just through that.â
He also reflected on âbefore and after photosâ of his physical changes.
âI donât feel like Iâm an âafterâ yet,â he confessed.
Now, Christopherâs lifestyle is mimicking that of his father, 78.
The bodybuilder won the Mr. Olympia title six times from 1970 to 1975 before briefly retiring.
