Anunay Sood Dead: Travel Influencer Was 32 and Mourned by Family in Emotional Tribute

Travel influencer Anunay Sood has died at age 32.

“It is with deep sadness that we share the news of our beloved Anunay Sood’s passing,” his family wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, November 5. “We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy as we navigate this difficult time. We humbly request you to avoid gathering crowd near personal property.”

The statement, which was signed “family and friends of Annuay Sood,” continued, “Please keep his family and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers. May his soul rest in peace. 🕊️.”

In the comments section of the emotional post, several of the content creator’s followers and loved ones expressed their condolences.

“Still can’t process this… You lived with so much passion, heart, and adventure, brother. Rest in peace, Anunay. You’ll be missed deeply. Strength to the family,” travel influencer Aakash Malhotra wrote, influencer Shanice Shrestha Sharma added, “Rest in Peace Bhai❤️ its hard to believe since I found out last night.. you will be missed deeply🙏🙏🙏.”

Travel influencer Paramvir Singh Beniwal wrote, “Thoughts and prayers for your family and loved ones. Rest in peace, Anunay. Your spirit and love for travel will keep travelling far beyond. 🫶🏽.”

Multiple outlets reported that Sood was in Las Vegas when he died, alleging that the influencer was on an all-expenses-paid trip. Days before news broke of his death, Sood shared a series of photos from the vacation.

“Still can’t believe I spent the weekend surrounded by legends and dream machines 😍 Which one would you take for a spin?? 😍🤪@wynnalmarjanisland @wynnlasvegas,” he wrote via Instagram on Tuesday, November 4, while at the Las Vegas Concours d’Elegance car event.

In the previous days before, Sood shared more pictures of him standing in front of vehicles in Las Vegas.

“Vegas lights, champagne nights, and the most dreamy cars you can imagine 💫 can’t believe I’m here for the Concours with @wynnlasvegas @wynnalmarjanisland 😍🥹❤️. it’s a car lover’s paradise 🏎️. Is Vegas on your Bucket list??😍,” he wrote via Instagram on Sunday, November 2, before adding on Monday, November 3, “Parked my sparkle in Vegas 😏. Because subtlety is overrated. Be honest — would you drive this car?”

Sood, who has amassed more than 1.4 million Instagram followers, rose to fame online with his travel content. Nearly one year ago, the content creator reflected on his online fame while ringing in the New Year.

“Thank you, 2024✨! Another year has flown by, and so much has changed. I’m so grateful for each one of you, your support, kindness, and all the fun moments have made this year truly unforgettable🫶🏻. Thank you for being here, for sharing this journey, and for making this space so full of life❤️,” he wrote via Instagram in December 2024.

Sood continued, “Grateful for everything we’ve built together and manifesting another million fam to join us, more trips, good health, and endless wealth in 2025✨🫶🏻! Let’s make it even bigger and better together. Masti time all the time, OK?🤪.”
