Angie Harmon’s rarely-seen lookalike daughter steals the spotlight in new photo

Rizzoli & Isles star Angie Harmon took to Instagram to share a rare photo of her youngest daughter, Emery, with the pair looking like sisters in the snap.

The picture saw the mother-daughter duo standing in a backyard and laughing together, with Angie wearing a sleek navy blouse with dark wash jeans and brown flats, while Emery sported a black minidress with a sheer waist cutout, paired with silver kitten heels.

Fans rushed to the comment section to share their surprise over how grown up the 17-year-old looked, with one writing: “Nope. That’s not ‘lil Em. How does it all go quickly Sis?! The two of you are slaying btw,” while another added: “Gorgeous ladies!! Emery is getting tall.”

“Copy and Paste; Forever your baby, even when she’s taller than you in heels!” said another, while a fourth chimed in: “Like mother, like daughter…” Angie shares Emery and her two older daughters, Finley, 22, and Avery, 20, with her ex-husband, NFL star Jason Sehorn.

The couple went their separate ways in 2014, and Angie has been open about the difficulties of being a single mom in the past.

“When it’s just you, there’s a different sort of survival set of skills that take over; you pay more attention to things that you wouldn’t normally,” she told People. “You are more aware of things that you wouldn’t normally be.”

“You learn to be independent in a different way,” she continued. “There’s a toughness that comes along with someone who constantly has to travel by themselves and protect three girls.”

The 53-year-old added that she didn’t regret anything about her marriage to Jason. “You just imagine that your life is going to be one way and then it turns out to be another. Now I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said.

“I love the life that I’ve been blessed with, and I wouldn’t have my daughters if I didn’t have that marriage and all of that.” Angie and Emery are incredibly close, and the actress took a moment to celebrate her youngest daughter when she entered high school in August 2023.

“How? HOW is my baby girl a FRESHMAN?? Weren’t you born [the] day before yesterday?” she wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of Emery holding a balloon in the shape of the number nine. “What kind of evil shenanigans in time travel is this?? Congratulations beautiful girl & We love you so much!!”

Angie previously shared with AARP in 2022 that she committed to being more present for her girls after her TV show wrapped in 2016. “I had a job and career, but then I became a mom, and that became my top priority,” she explained. “After Rizzoli & Isles ended in 2016, I told the girls I wouldn’t work on a show that took me away from them like that. And I haven’t.”

“I never really saw myself as a mom,” she added. “But my girls are the coolest people I’ve ever met – hilarious, beautiful, all three of them. They are at the age – teenagers – where everyone else goes, ‘Ugh.’ And I think to myself, Mine are kind of amazing.”
