Andy Cohen ripped into an internet troll for claiming that celebrity presidential endorsements of Kamala Harris were just a “flex.”

The Bravo executive, 56, shared an Instagram video of himself on Wednesday speaking with his daughter Lucy, 2, and son Ben, 5, after Donald Trump beat Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election.

“God Bless America! 🇺🇸,” Cohen captioned the video in which he told his children with tears in his eyes, “We love our country…We will persist.”

The video prompted a netizen to take to the comments section with an unwelcome opinion on Cohen’s political activism.

“I’m impressed with this post Andy, it’s gracious and I’m glad we agree we all love our country. But the celebs all endorsing her was not the flex you think it was,” the troll wrote.

“Americans are tired of the liberal extremism,” the Instagram user continued. “I hope we can all move on together and find some unity somewhere. It’s exhausting being this divided.”

The father of two responded to the comment with a savage reply.

“This is america,” Cohen wrote. “if celebs want to express themselves they should be allowed to like everyone else.”

He added, “Standing up for what you believe in is not a flex, it is AMERICAN.”

On election day, Cohen confirmed that he had cast his ballot for Harris on Election Day.

He shared a selfie where he was seen wearing an “I voted” sticker and his daughter rocking a “Future Voter” sticker with the caption, “I voted for Her, for her 🇺🇸 💙.”

Cohen also shared a lengthy Instagram message endorsing Harris for president in October.

“I am voting for Kamala Harris because: I believe women should have jurisdiction over their bodies,” he wrote in the caption of the post along with a photo of himself posing with Harris.

“As a gay American dad who had kids through IVF, the Supreme Court is on the ballot and I don’t want it filled with (more) right wing extremists who will take away my rights,” he continued. “I believe in sensible gun control. I believe in building the middle class, and raising the minimum wage.”

Cohen also said that the Vice President is “mentally fit” to serve as Commander in Chief and is not “too old for the job.”

“America should never cozy up to dictators,” he added of Trump. “She will be a President for all Americans.”

Cohen went on to say that the Jan. 6 attack on Capitol was “one of the darkest days in our history” and “the result of a weak man’s fragile ego.”

“I don’t want to go back! Everybody get out and vote / check out IWillVote.com for more information. (yes i turned comments off!” he said. “We can agree to disagree without going nuts! the election will be over in a few weeks! Have a great day and GOD BLESS AMERICA! 🇺🇸)”

Former President Donald Trump defeated Harris on Wednesday after reversing his 2020 losses in the crucial states of Georgia, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
