He wanted the full picture.
Andy Cohen revealed on Fridayâs episode of his âAndy Cohenâs Daddy Diariesâ podcast that he once asked to see a fanâs revealing photo after accidentally catching a glimpse of it during a chance encounter on the street.
The Bravo star recalled that the nervous fan approached him for a photo but mistakenly pulled up what Cohen described as âvery clearly a dâk picâ on his phone instead.
Rather than looking away, Cohen stopped him. âWait a minute,â he remembered saying. âI want to see that.â
The 58-year-old joked that the fan was âjust a random, nice guyâ before admitting he even âzoomed inâ on the image.
âYou look so great!â Cohen recalled telling the surprised admirer.
The fan, still visibly flustered, asked again if they could take a picture together.
âWhat do you have to be nervous about?â Cohen quipped. âYou just showed me your dâk. How could you be nervous now? Look where weâve been.â
The two ultimately snapped a selfie before going their separate ways.
Later in the episode, however, Cohen admitted he had begun second-guessing whether sharing the story publicly was the right move.
âIâve had some shame-related feelings about me speaking so freely,â he said, adding that he told himself, âMaybe you donât have to share every thought on the radio.â
Cohen said he âdidnât think twiceâ about telling the story until listeners began sliding into his DMs and criticizing his behavior.
One message urged the late-night host to publicly apologize, arguing that he should have ignored the fanâs explicit photo â especially because heâs in a relationship.
Podcast guest and comedian Sarah Colonna also joked that âzooming in on the photo maybe was a step too far.â
Cohen, however, wasnât bothered by the criticism.
The commenter continued, slamming Cohen for interacting with the fanâs private photo when he has a boyfriend, claiming it makes it âall the more inappropriate.â
The TV host laughed at the message, before clarifying that âThe first person [he] told about this story when it happened was [his] fella.â
âAnd he thought it was hilarious.â
The TV personality has been dating Sobieski, 42, since last summer.
The couple went public with their romance in June after photos surfaced of them celebrating Cohenâs birthday together, before making things Instagram official days later.
