While summer may be drawing to a close, we are still obsessing over Andy Burnham’s wife Marie-France van Heel, who seldom fails to leave us dazzled.

As well as the Cambridge University alumna being described as the ultimate “cool girl” of her year group, we remain besotted with her sartorial portfolio, which effortlessly blends high street and designer labels.

Andy is known to be an Everton fan

Her latest fashionable foray was earlier this week when she slipped into a gorgeous ballet pink A-line dress with immaculate pleats all the way to the floor, which she paired with a cropped white jacket.

She and her Prime Minister husband attended the Premier League match between Everton and Crystal Palace, with Andy being a devout fan of the former.

While we usually see Marie style her ice-blonde platinum locks into a fabulous updo, she opted to keep her tresses down, her ends immaculately flicked up at the ends.

Marie rocked a towering pair of wedge espadrilles, which appear to be covered in tiny ballet pink flowers. The pair in question were from Boden and had elegant ribbon straps tied in bows around Marie’s ankles.

In July, as her husband was confirmed as the Labour Party’s new leader and the country’s next prime minister, during ‘Labour’s Special Conference’ in central London, Marie chose high-street over designer, slipping into a lace co-ord by M&S.
