The finishing touches are being completed on Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s future Marsh Farm home, where he is due to move once the renovations are concluded, it can be revealed.
After being stripped of his royal titles, Andrew, 66, moved out of his 30-room residence at Royal Lodge in Windsor, where he had lived with his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, since 2004.
In February 2026, Andrew was confirmed to have moved to the Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, which is owned by his brother, King Charles.
He is temporarily living at Wood Farm while he awaits the completion of renovations at Marsh Farm, which he is due to move into in April. Wood Farm is also where Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office before being released later that day under investigation.
Finishing touches are being completed
Renovations at Marsh Farm have been taking place over the last month, including the addition of a new security fence, carpet fittings and the installation of Sky TV. In new pictures, a Sky workman can be seen drilling from the exterior of the building, wearing a helmet, face mask and ear muffs while making sure the TV channels are set up.
Workmen were also spotted fixing grey blinds in the kitchen, and an equestrian fencing van was also seen as the stables take shape out the back of the farmhouse.
Andrew’s renovations at Marsh Farm
Previously an unoccupied residence on the King’s private Sandringham Estate, Marsh Farm has undergone a series of changes to accommodate its new resident. Workmen have also been seen installing a six-foot fence around the perimeter, along with CCTV cameras to secure the property and protect Andrew’s privacy.
Similarly, the no-fly zone established for the Sandringham Estate was extended to include Marsh Farm, which is located a few kilometres west of Sandringham House and situated near the village of Wolferton.
Marsh Farm has also faced some common issues found in homes across the UK, including roads with potholes, the presence of common pests and potential flood risks.
Sandringham Estate closure
While renovations at Marsh Farm continue, the Norfolk-based Sandringham Estate announced it will close some of its public facilities over the Easter period.
In a statement, the estate said: “March Temporary Closure Notice: The Sandringham Restaurant & Terrace will be closed from Monday 16th to Wednesday 18th March inclusive.
“All facilities at the Visitor Centre (Restaurant, Terrace & Shop) will be closed on Tuesday 24th March. St Mary Magdalene Church will be closed on Thursday, 26th March. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
