Anderson Cooper Reveals What Really Hit Him in the Head During Hurricane Coverage

Anderson Cooper is here to report what exactly went down during Hurricane Milton

In October, the Anderson Cooper 360 host was on the frontlines of Hurricane Milton coverage in Brandenton, Fla., when the world watched him get hit in the head by a piece of flying debris.

And now, he can confirm exactly what it was.

“I got hit by something, which I gotta say, I thought I had accomplished some things in my career, I thought that I had gotten some things of note or memorable things,” Anderson said during The Late Show With Stephen Colbert Dec. 4 in a joint appearance with BFF Andy Cohen. “The next day, Andy called me up and he’s like ‘Have you Googled yourself?’ and he said do it, so I did.”

Anderson admitted that he was shocked by the number of articles written about the viral moment but had to clear the air about one thing.
