HexClad’s new Super Bowl ad starring Gordon Ramsay is … out of this world!
The high-tech cookware brand teamed up with the celebrity chef for a special Super Bowl LIX ad, which PEOPLE can exclusively share. The minute-long advertisement takes place in conspiracy-filled Area 51, where Ramsay is tasked with cooking up the perfect dish for visiting aliens.
The ad kicks off as Ramsay — decked out in his usual crisp white jacket — is introduced to Area 51, and learns he must cook for the new alien species.
“Apparently, they’re foodies,” says the woman guiding him around the compound.
“Ah, foodies,” Ramsay says, feigning disdain. “The worst.”
The pair tours the kitchen space, which includes a mini bonsai tree, little aliens flaming a slice of a corndog, and a fried egg with the same aerodynamics as Saturn.
The woman tells Ramsay that he’ll be allowed to use everything in the Area 51 test kitchen, including “top secret alien cooking technology” — and the camera pans (no pun intended) to a lineup of HexClad cookware, including whisks, knives and a series of frying pans.
“Wait, that’s just a HexClad pan,” Ramsay says, picking one up. “I’ve got these at home!”
“Unfortunately, it was leaked eight years ago,” the woman replies. “this pan was developed using material from an alien spacecraft,” she says, pausing to place the pan on a burner.
Then a blue, holographic UFO appears, floating over the pan.
“You’re saying the pan I use to fry my bacon is made out of flying saucers?” Ramsay says in disbelief.
The woman brushes off his awe, and says they need to meet with the “alien ambassador.” Ramsay turns around to see an alien-like creature, complete with tentacles and bug-like head.

“Not her,” the woman tells Ramsay. She then points to Pete Davidson. “Him.”
Ramsay is in disbelief, once again, that Davidson is an alien.
“All famous people are aliens,” Davidson says, though Ramsay replies that he isn’t one. “I meant, like, really famous people.”
The little aliens, apparently done flaming the corndog piece, giggle in response to Ramsay’s crestfallen face.
The MasterChef host opened up about partnering with HexClad in a statement shared with PEOPLE.
“I’ll be honest with you, HexClad hybrid technology is leagues ahead of anything in the industry— I knew it from the moment I got my hands on it,” he said. “ And when something’s this big, what do you do? Go bigger! We brought in Pete Davidson, created something that’s completely out-of-this-world and then scheduled to put it on the biggest stage around – the Super Bowl. We had a brilliant time filming this one – just wait until you see it!”
