Post Malone went big when he picked out Christy Lee’s giant engagement ring.
Lee revealed the inspiration behind the design to Vogue, stating that Malone, whose real name is Austin Post, questioned her on her preferences. “One day, completely out of the blue, he asked me, ‘Pear, heart, or cushion?’ I told him I’d always thought there was something so chic about an oval.”
When asked if there’s such a thing as a ring that’s too big, Lee said “I jokingly told him I didn’t think so.”
The singer certainly tested the limits.
Jewelers Isaac Bokhoor and Sam Tack of Angel City Jewelers congratulated the couple on Instagram on Thursday — and gave a closer look at the massive sparkler, confirming that the oval-cut natural diamond weighs in at more than 20 carats, calling it an “immaculate stone.”
In addition a pic of the newly engaged couple, the brand also shared a video with an up-close 360-degree view of the ring, with the large oval-cut diamond sitting on a clean platinum shank, supported by four simple prongs.
“That one glacier that took out the Titanic,” one fan quipped while another wrote, “She’s so petite [she] will need a back brace to hold her up lol.”
A third joked, “Hopefully she has a very strong finger!”
Experts previously told Page Six Style that they estimated the stone to clock in at 15 carats and potentially worth $2 million. However, now that the jewelers have revealed the true stone weight, the true price tag is likely even higher.
Friends revealed that the “Circles” singer, 31, popped the question last week, posting photos of the loved-up couple celebrating the engagement on social media.
In the photos, Lee wears a sash that reads “Bride to Be,” with a white veil and white studded sunglasses, holding her left hand with the ring on her finger towards the camera.
The pair were initially linked in early 2025 and were spotted on a romantic trip to Paris a few months later.
