Ali Larter’s towering daughter, 11, looks all grown up in stunning appearance with ageless mom

Ali Larter enjoyed a very special mother-daughter day as she stepped out with her rarely-seen daughter, Vivienne Margaret MacArthur, in Los Angeles.

The Landman star, 50, was joined by 11-year-old Vivienne at Step Up’s 2026 annual Inspiration Awards at the Skirball Cultural Center on Friday, and the youngster looked so grown up as she posed alongside her famous mom.

Ali looked incredible in an effortlessly chic navy pantsuit, which she teamed with a chocolate brown camisole featuring delicate lace detailing around its plunging neckline.

The actress wore her long blonde hair loose in soft waves and accessorized with silver hoop earrings and stacks of sparkling bracelets, while keeping her makeup fresh and glowing.

Vivienne coordinated beautifully with her mom in a navy spaghetti-strap mini dress, finishing her look with black sneakers with pale pink laces.

The pair appeared completely at ease in front of the cameras, wrapping their arms around each other before sharing a sweet moment as Vivienne laughed while her mom affectionately placed a hand on her head.

The annual Inspiration Awards celebrates Step Up’s work mentoring girls and women, with this year’s event featuring a red carpet reception and stories from girls and mentors involved with the organization.

Ali’s special bond with Vivienne

The outing comes as Ali has shared a little more about her relationship with her daughter, whom she welcomed with husband Hayes MacArthur in January 2015.

The actress recently revealed that even her beauty routine has become an opportunity to spend time with Vivienne. “I have a daughter and you kind of make it like it’s like a beautiful part of your night instead of it being rushed,” she told People while discussing how her approach to beauty has changed since becoming a mother.

And despite Vivienne looking increasingly like her glamorous mom, Ali previously revealed that her daughter’s personality actually reminds her much more of Hayes.

“My daughter is so funny,” she told Us Weekly. “She giggles at herself, she laughs at everything, and she’s very similar to my husband in that way. Just totally the most fun person to be around.”

Ali and Hayes, who married in 2009, are also parents to 15-year-old son Theodore, known as Teddy.

While the actress has enjoyed a major career resurgence playing Angela Norris opposite Billy Bob Thornton in Taylor Sheridan’s hit series Landman, family life remains firmly at the center of her world.

Putting her children first

In fact, Ali and Hayes made the decision to leave Los Angeles during the pandemic and raise their children in Sun Valley, Idaho.

What began as a family road trip eventually became a permanent move after the couple fell in love with life in the mountains. “We went back to L.A. and we realized we wanted to put our family first,” Ali previously explained.

“Our life is so different there and it’s a small town, and it kind of holds you to a different type of accountability. It’s something that me and Hayes really wanted to do for our children, so we did.”

More recently, Ali revealed just how much she values the independence the lifestyle has given Vivienne and Teddy.

“We love raising our kids there – they’re kind of free-range,” she said. “My daughter can take the bus on her own. It’s small and safe, and it’s building the kind of character we want for them – patience, kindness, love of nature – and knowing that’s a place to return to when life gets hard.”

The slower pace also allows Ali to switch off from Hollywood when she’s not filming. “I’m cooking dinners and allowing myself to sleep in, or going to yoga or taking long hikes with the dogs,” she told People. “And I’m at every soccer game and every soccer practice, and that really feeds me.”

She added: “It’s important to me that when I come home, I can be present with my children.”

Setting an example for her daughter

But Ali hasn’t stepped away from her career to prioritize motherhood – and she believes continuing to work sends an important message to both of her children.

Speaking about balancing Landman with family life, she explained that she wants Teddy and Vivienne to understand “that they can be a parent and they can also work.”

It’s a balance the actress appears to have found as she enters what she recently described as a “new chapter” at 50.

Ali told People that wellness now means taking a much broader approach to looking after herself, from exercising and drinking plenty of water to caring for her skin and, most importantly, spending time with her family.

Friday’s outing was not Vivienne’s first recent appearance alongside her famous mom. In June, she and Teddy joined their parents in New York for the 25th anniversary celebration of Legally Blonde, where Ali reunited with Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Coolidge, Selma Blair and other stars from the beloved 2001 movie.
