Alec and Hilaria Baldwin will host the grand reopening of Planet Hollywood on Tuesday, Page Six has learned.
The invite-only party will feature a DJ set from Boy George and an appearance by rapper 50 Cent.
Alec and Hilaria star in the new TLC reality show, âThe Baldwins,â with their seven children.
The Planet Hollywood party is one of the most talked-about in NYC in quite a while.
Robert Earlâs Hollywood-themed restaurant shuttered its Times Square location during COVID, and spent $17 million to reopen at 136 W. 42nd St.

âYou can suddenly be inside a beautiful forest or an old cowboy town and Lil Nas X is playing. And then it goes over to Jelly Roll and then Taylor Swift.â
He further explained, âin the past we focused on the theatergoers coming from across the water and visitors to the city, and we werenât targeting Manhattanites.â
The original concept for Planet Hollywood â which includes four restaurants and five resorts â was hatched in the late â80s when Earl, who then owned the Hard Rock CafĂ©, was approached by Hollywood producers.
The flagship location famously opened in 1991 on West 57th Street, with backing from stars Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.
The eateryâs movie memorabilia collection included items from âRocky IIIâ and âTerminator 2: Judgment Day,â among others.
In 2000, it relocated to Times Square, at 1540 Broadway, but COVID shut the place.
The new location is above a Guy Fieri eatery, Chicken Guy!
