Alabama Barker has threatened to become âso skinnyâ by upping her dose of Ozempic in a bid to quiet body-shamers once and for all.
The 20-year-old daughter of Travis Barker admitted that she is so tired of comments about her weight that sheâs going to start taking the âhighest dose of Ozempic.â
Alabama, whose stepmom is Kourtney Kardashian, shared a post on TikTok earlier this week, blasting people for their âdisgustingâ shaming of her body.
âThis is not very role model of me, but Iâm gonna get on the highest dose of Ozempic,â she said on Thursday.Â
âAnd Iâm going to become so skinny, youâre gonna tell me I need a burger, because the way that people body shame me is [expletive] disgusting.â
She added: âI [expletive] hate you guys, and Iâm gonna get so skinny. [Expletive] you. No [expletive], no [expletive], 2027. Bye.â
Alabamaâs weight loss
In July 2024, Alabama confessed that she had turned to âweight loss medicationâ to help her slim down because she was âtiredâ of being called âfatâ and âugly,â although she did not reveal the name of the drug at the time.
âI have, like, this thing where I photograph so ugly, and people are like, âOh, my God â youâre so fat, and youâre so ugly,'â she said.
âAnd itâs, like, I see what you guys are seeing, but just, like, meet me in person. I feel like I donât look like that.â
Despite not thinking the comments about her appearance were warranted, Alabama revealed that she had turned to the weight loss drug to help her slim down.
âBut Iâm on weight-loss medication because Iâm tired of being fat and photographing like a damn ogre,â she admitted.
In August 2023, Alabama spoke about health issues that cause her weight to fluctuate after she was the target of body shamers.
âI also have a thyroid problem and an autoimmune disease. So thatâs one of the main reasons why I have weight gain,â Alabama explained, addressing the body shamers directly.
âWeight fluctuates and I donât want any girls that are young watching this that are gaining weight to ever think thereâs something wrong with it,â she added.
Alabama has faced unnecessary criticism about her appearance, which she admitted in 2023, she finds âchallengingâ to ignore.
âIâm not going to sit here and lie and say itâs easy and to keep pushing⊠It gets very challenging especially when they donât know you. I feel very misunderstood!â she said on TikTok.
âPeople are going to hate regardless,â she continued. âYou need to not feed into it, you wonât benefit from it! Keep your peace protected. Donât entertain what people say about you, if you know yourself & your morals and your intentions, nothing else matters.â
