Alabama Barker infused her swimwear agenda with a stylish twist – and it’s all about crochet. The 20-year-old took to her Instagram Stories on September 8 to show off her latest sun-soaked look.
Kourtney Kardashian’s stepdaughter wore a crochet bikini in a stunning pale-pink hue. The garment featured a tie up halter design with crochet cups and a large cochlear metal accent at the centre. The crochet material trailed down the torso for an asymmetric design and attached to the micro bikini bottoms.
Alabama’s luscious blonde locks were slicked back into a ponytail with sleek, face-framing tendrils while her makeup oozed soft glam, courtesy of a smoky eye and a glossy pink lip. She accessories with a stack of gold bangles and a pair of diamond-encrusted stud earrings.
The rising star has been experimenting with her swimwear style this summer. Alabama rocked a butter-yellow bikini ensemble that consisted of a silver-studded tie-up top and a pair of matching hot pants. The playful design looked so cool styled with platform yellow heels as Alabama posed in her backyard for a series of snaps.
Alabama Barker’s response to body shaming
The 20-year-old was forced to respond to a series of “disgusting” comments about her body last month. “This is not very role model of me, but I’m gonna get on the highest dose of Ozempic,” she said on TikTok. “And I’m going to become so skinny, you’re gonna tell me I need a burger, because the way that people body shame me is [expletive] disgusting.”
She added: “I [expletive] hate you guys, and I’m gonna get so skinny. [Expletive] you. No [expletive], no [expletive], 2027. Bye.”
In July 2024, Alabama admitted that she had tried “weight loss medication” because she was “tired” of the body shaming she had received online. “I also have a thyroid problem and an autoimmune disease. So that’s one of the main reasons why I have weight gain,” she explained.
“Weight fluctuates and I don’t want any girls that are young watching this that are gaining weight to ever think there’s something wrong with it,” she added.
“I’m not going to sit here and lie and say it’s easy and to keep pushing… It gets very challenging especially when they don’t know you. I feel very misunderstood!” she said on TikTok.
“People are going to hate regardless,” she continued. “You need to not feed into it, you won’t benefit from it! Keep your peace protected. Don’t entertain what people say about you, if you know yourself & your morals and your intentions, nothing else matters.”
