Adam Lambert flaunted his 60-pound weight loss while visiting New York City on Tuesday.
The âAmerican Idolâ alum was photographed exiting the âTodayâ show with a much slimmer frame and looking confident in a bold blue suit.
Lambert, 42, appeared to be in high spirits and flashed a peace sign at cameras.
His leaner physique comes after he confirmed to fans in an Instagram Live in March, per Heavy, that he had been taking Mounjaro, a type 2 diabetes and weight loss medication, for about eight months and therefore dropped 60 pounds.
âI feel amazing,â he gushed to fans at the time.
While the medication helped him shed some pounds, he told fans he was originally prescribed Ozempic to help regulate his blood sugar.
However, he said the side effects from taking Ozempic were too intense to carry on with it, which is why he switched to Mounjaro.
âWhen I switched to Mounjaro, a lot of those symptoms went away and I had hardly any side effects and I feel incredible,â he reportedly explained.
âI feel better, I feel more confident. I feel like my actual body feels better, like my digestive system feels more regulated.â
He even reportedly revealed his mental health improved so much that he was able to stop taking his anti-depressants.
Lambert has previously been open about his past struggles with his weight.
In 2009, he told Sirius Radio that he weighed 250 pounds in high school, according to Radar Online.
âThat creates some stuff ⊠some body image stuff, some confidence issues,â he noted.
Of course, Lambert is far from the first celebrity to confess to using a weight loss drug.
Last month, Fat Joe admitted he took Ozempic to help him lose 200 pounds.
Just days earlier, actress Kathy Bates confirmed Ozempic helped her cut 20 pounds after she lost 80 by changing her diet.
âReal Housewives of New Jerseyâ star Jennifer Aydin, Tori Spelling and Scott Disick are also among the dozens of stars who have turned to weight-loss medication to help slim down.
