Hollywood is mourning the loss of some of its finest stars.

Rob Reiner and Michele Singer Reiner
Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner were tragically stabbed to death in their LA home on Dec. 14.
Officers were called to the Brentwood home, where they discovered a man and woman with stab wounds, according to cops and sources.
The Los Angeles Fire Department told NBC Los Angeles that a 78-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman were found dead inside the home.Â
It was later confirmed to be the legendary director and his wife. The investigation is ongoing.
The couple tied the knot in 1989 and share three children: Jake, Nick and Romy.
Peter Greene
Actor Peter Greene, who is best known for his roles in âPulp Fictionâ and âThe Mask,â died. He was 60 years old.
Greene was found dead in his New York City apartment on Friday, his longtime manager, Gregg Edwards, confirmed to The Post.
The actor was found unresponsive inside his Lower East Side apartment on Clinton Street around 3:25 p.m., and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police and Edwards.
Police told The Post no foul play was suspected, but that a cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.Â
Jeff Garcia
Voice actor Jeff Garcia died on Dec. 10, TMZ confirmed. He was 50.
Family members told the outlet that Gardia was pronounced dead after being taken off life support the night before. He was reportedly at a Southern California hospital and surrounded by family and friends at the time of his death.
Garcia â known for his voice work in the âJimmy Neutronâ franchise â passed away weeks after suffering a stroke and months after recovering from a brain aneurysm.
Sophie Kinsella
âConfessions of a Shopaholicâ author Sophie Kinsella has died at 55 years old following a years-long battle with brain cancer.
Kinsellaâs family announced the authorâs death in an Instagram post on Dec. 10.
âWe are heartbroken to announce the passing this morning of our beloved Sophie (aka Maddy, aka Mummy),â the post started. âShe died peacefully, with her final days filled with her true loves: family and music and warmth and Christmas and joy.â
âWe canât imagine what life will be like without her radiance and love of life. Despite her illness, which she bore with unimaginable courage, Sophie counted herself truly blessed â to have such wonderful family and friends, and to have had the extraordinary success of her writing career. She took nothing for granted and was forever grateful for the love she received.â
Steve Cropper
Guitarist Steve Cropper died on Dec. 3. He was 84.
The Blues Brothers musician was admitted to a rehabilitation center in Nashville, Tenn., after suffering from a fall, his pal Eddie Gore told AP news.
A cause of death wasnât immediately revealed.
Poorstacy
Rapper Poorstacy died at age 26.
The Palm Beach County Medical Examiner confirmed to Page Six that the musician and frequent Travis Barker collaborator died on Nov. 29.
The Boca Raton Police Department told Billboard, the Florida-born rapper died after an âincident.â
The cause of death is unclear but his fans on social media indicate they are under the belief he may have died by suicide.
Poorstacy, born Carlito Milfort, created music that merges hip hop, punk rock and heavy metal.
He collaborated on several tracks with Barker and Iann Dior and was also featured on the Grammy Award nominated âBill & Ted Face the Musicâ soundtrack.
Ethan Browne
Jackson Browneâs son, Ethan Browne, has died. He was 52 years old.
The âRaising Helenâ star was reported dead after he was found âunresponsive in his homeâ on Tuesday morning, according to a Facebook post shared by Jackson on Nov. 26.
âIt is with deep sorrow that we share that on the morning of November 25, 2025, Ethan Browne, the son of Jackson Browne and Phyllis Major, was found unresponsive in his home and has passed away,â the statement read.
Joan Templeman
Richard Branson announced the death of his wife, Joan Templeman, on Nov. 25. She was 80.
âHeartbroken to share that Joan, my wife and partner for 50 years, has passed away,â he wrote in an Instagram post alongside an old photo of his late wife.
He added, âShe was my best friend, my rock, my guiding light, my world. Love you forever, Joan x.â
The couple tied the knot in 1989 and welcomed three children: Holly, Sam, and their late child, Clare.
Jimmy Cliff
Reggae legend Jimmy Cliffâs wife, Latifa Chambers, announced his death at 81 âwith profound sadnessâ in a Nov. 24 statement.
âMy husband ⊠has crossed over due to a seizure followed by pneumonia,â she wrote via Instagram. âI am thankful for his family, friends, fellow artists and coworkers who have shared his journey with him.â
Chambers concluded, âJimmy, my darling, may you rest in peace. I will follow your wishes.â
Cliff, born in Jamaica in 1944, was best known for âMany Rivers to Cross,â âThe Harder They Comeâ and more songs.
Ornella Vanoni
Italian singer Ornella Vanoni has died. She was 91 years old.
italian newspaper La Stampa reports the singer died on Nov. 21. after suffering a cardiac arrest, per AP News.
Her signature hit song âLâappuntamento,â which is an adaptation of the Brazilian song âSentado Ă beira do caminho,â was most famously featured in Steven Soderberghâs 2004 film, âOceanâs Twelve.â
Vanoni received a number of tributes following her passing including a toughing message from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
âDeep sorrow for the passing of Ornella Vanoni, the unmistakable voice of our music, who marked decades of Italian culture and accompanied generations with timeless songs. Italy loses a unique artist, who leaves us an unrepeatable artistic heritage,â she wrote via X.
Jellybean Johnson
Jellybean Johnson, most famously known as a founding member of Princeâs band The Time, died on Nov. 21. He was 69 years old.
His family confirmed the news of Johnsonâs death to TMZ on Nov. 22. His cause of death remains unknown at this time.
Jellybean (whose real name was Garry George Johnson) served as a drummer in Princeâs band, which later became known as Morris Day and the Time and the Original 7ven.
Todd Snider
Singer-songwriter Todd Snider, who captivated fans with songs like âAlright Guy,â died at age 59.
The news was announced on his Facebook page and confirmed by friends.
No cause of death was given at the time. However, his family announced on social media on Nov. 14 that Snider had been hospitalized with pneumonia.
Sally Kirkland
Hollywood icon Sally Kirkland died on Nov. 11 after a battle with dementia. She was 84.
Her rep, Michael Greene, confirmed that she passed away at 1:50 a.m. PT. The âAnnaâ actress had entered hospice just days before she passed away.
âShe continues to receive medical care at a private facility where family and friends joined her on Halloween for a birthday celebration,â Page Six was told at the time.
She had suffered several health issues in the years leading up to her death, and a GoFundMe account was set up to help cover her medical fees.
Throughout her six-decade acting career, the New York native appeared in more than 200 movies and earned a Golden Globe award and Academy Award nomination.
She was part of New Yorkâs avant-garde scene and was a one-time member of Andy Warholâs âFactoryâ circle.
Young Bleed
Rapper Young Bleed died on Nov. 1, his eldest son, TyâGee Ramon Clifton, confirmed in a video he posted on Instagram.
He was 51 years old.
The hip-hop star, whose real name was Glenn Clifton Jr., died after he collapsed and suffered a brain aneurysm from internal bleeding during an afterparty following a CashMoney vs. NoLimit Verzuz concert at ComplexCon in Las Vegas on Oct. 25.
TyâGee wrote, âRip to the biggest legend I knoâŠ. Young bleed!!! Love u Dad so much and will definitely miss u⊠but imma carry the torch from here I got u.â
âIâm glad he went out in style!!!!,â he added.
Diane Ladd
Laura Dern revealed her mom Diane Laddâs passing in a Nov. 3 statement to People.
âMy amazing hero and my profound gift of a mother, Diane Ladd, passed with me beside her this morning, at her home in Ojai, Calif.,â the âBig Little Liesâ star wrote.
âShe was the greatest daughter, mother, grandmother, actress, artist and empathetic spirit that only dreams could have seemingly created,â Dern continued. âWe were blessed to have her. She is flying with her angels now.â
Ladd, notably, was a Golden Globe-winning actress best known for âRambling Rose,â âWild at Heartâ and more movies.
Floyd Roger Myers Jr.
Floyd Roger Myers Jr., who rose to fame for his role as a young Will Smith on âThe Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,â has died. He was 42.
The actor died of a heart attack at his home in Maryland early Oct. 29 morning, his mother, Renee Trice, confirmed to TMZ.
Trice, who last spoke to her son on Oct. 28, revealed he suffered three heart attacks in the last three years.
The actorâs sister, Tyree Trice, also announced his passing via a GoFundMe page, revealing the fatal heart attack was âunexpectedâ and âsudden.â
âHe was a devoted father, loving brother and friend whose kindness, laughter and warmth touched everyone he met,â Tyree wrote of her older brother.
âRoger leaves behind his four beautiful children â Taelyn, Kinsley, Tyler, and Knox â and our loving family is now facing the unimaginable loss of someone who meant everything to us.â
Jamar Champ
Masika Kalyshaâs estranged husband, Jamar Champ, died in a wrong-way Texas car crash on Oct. 28.
The 38-year-old was left in critical condition after his Tesla Cybertruck was hit head-on by a BMW, with Champ subsequently crashing into an 18-wheeler.
He was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
Kalysha, who wrote via Instagram that she was âin shamblesâ over the accident, shared a 3-year-old daughter with Champ, whom she separated from in 2023 after two years of marriage.
Prunella Scales
Prunella Scales, who starred in the beloved British sitcom âFawlty Towers,â has died nearly a year after her husband, Timothy West, passed away. She was 93.
Scales, who had recently battled dementia, died âpeacefully at home in London,â on Oct. 27, her sons, Samuel and Joseph West, said in a statement obtained by the Hollywood Reporter.
âShe was 93. Although dementia forced her retirement from a remarkable acting career of nearly 70 years, she continued to live at home,â the statement continued.
âShe is survived by two sons and one stepdaughter, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren,â they added.
âWe would like to thank all those who gave Pru such wonderful care at the end of her life: her last days were comfortable, contented and surrounded by love.â
June Lockhart
June Lockhart, beloved âLassieâ and âLost in Spaceâ actress, died at the age of 100 on Thursday, People reported on Saturday.
Lockhart reportedly passed away at 9:20 p.m. in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, and was reportedly attended by her daughter June Elizabeth and granddaughter Christianna when she died.
The actress began her film career in 1938âs âA Christmas Carolâ opposite her parents Gene and Kathleen Lockhart.
She was cast on âLassieâ in 1958, taking over for Cloris Leachman as Ruth Martin, and continuing until 1964. She received two Emmy nominations for her role on the series.
Lockhart began appearing on the TV series âLost in Spaceâ in 1965, a role sheâd keep until 1968.
âMy philosophy has always been the âright thingsâ will come to you,â she told Boomer magazine in June amid her 100th birthday. âI am lucky that I was able to work with so many talented actors and directors.â
Dave Ball
Dave Ball of electronic music duo Soft Cell died on Oct. 22 at the age of 66.
The British producer and instrumentalist âpassed away peacefully in his sleep at his London home,â read an announcement on his Instagram page.
While an official cause of death has not yet been released, Ball had been battling health issues in recent years.
In 2023, he fell down stairs and sustained a fractured spine, several cracked ribs and a broken wrist. While in the hospital, he contracted pneumonia and sepsis, which led to him being placed in a medically induced coma.
Ballâs bandmate, singer Marc Almond, called him a âwonderfully brilliant musical genius.â
They last performed together in September at the Rewind Festival.
Sam Rivers
Sam Rivers, bassist for rock band Limp Bizkit, has died on Oct. 18. He was 48 years old.
Riversâ death was confirmed by the band, who wrote online that they âlost [their] brotherâ.
âSam Rivers wasnât just our bass player â he was pure magic. The pulse beneath every song, the calm in the chaos, the soul in the sound,â Limp Bizkit said in a social media post Oct. 18.
âHe was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of human. A true legend of legends. And his spirit will live forever in every groove, every stage, every memory.â
The âBreak Stuffâ musicians did not share any details about his death.
Ace Frehley
Ace Frehley, founding member of iconic rock band KISS, died Oct. 16 at the age of 74, his family confirmed in a statement.
âWe are completely devastated and heartbroken,â the statement read. âIn his last moments, we were fortunate enough to have been able to surround him with loving, caring, peaceful words, thoughts, prayers and intentions as he left this earth,â the statement read.
âWe cherish all of his finest memories, his laughter, and celebrate his strengths and kindness that he bestowed upon others. The magnitude of his passing is of epic proportions, and beyond comprehension. Reflecting on all of his incredible life achievements, Aceâs memory will continue to live on forever!â
Former bandmates Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons also released a joint statement.
âWe are devastated by the passing of Ace Frehley,â they wrote in statement to Page Six. âHe was an essential and irreplaceable rock soldier during some of the most formative foundational chapters of the band and its history.â
âHe is and will always be a part of KISSâs legacy,â the statement continued. âOur thoughts are with [his estranged wife] Jeanette, [daughter] Monique and all those who loved him, including our fans around the world.â
An official cause of death has yet to be released.
DâAngelo
Soul legend DâAngelo has died. He was 51.
The âBrown Sugarâ crooner â born Michael Eugene Archer â had been undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer when he passed away in New York City on Tuesday, insiders told TMZ on Oct. 14.
His family confirmed the news, telling Variety, âThe shining star of our family has dimmed his light for us in this life.â
âWe are saddened that he can only leave dear memories with his family, but we are eternally grateful for the legacy of extraordinarily moving music he leaves behind,â they continued.
DâAngelo leaves behind a son, Michael Archer, and a daughter, Imani Archer.
Diane Keaton
Diane Keaton died Oct. 11 in Los Angeles, a family rep confirmed to People. They also noted the family asked for privacy. The Oscar winning âAnnie Hallâ and âFather of the Brideâ star was 79.
Her health had declined in recent months, a friend of the iconic actress told the outlet. âShe declined very suddenly, which was heartbreaking for everyone who loved her,â they said. âIt was so unexpected, especially for someone with such strength and spirit.â
The âFirst Wives Clubâ star was seen looking healthy and happy in her final Instagram post in April 2025. In the upload, she was seen snuggling her dog Reggie and celebrating National Pet Day.
Keatonâs family â including daughter Dexter and son Duke â announced on Oct. 15 that she died from pneumonia.
âThe Keaton family are very grateful for the extraordinary messages of love and support they have received these past few days on behalf of their beloved Diane, who passed away from pneumonia on October 11,â they said, per People.
âShe loved her animals and she was steadfast in her support of the unhoused community, so any donations in her memory to a local food bank or an animal shelter would be a wonderful and much appreciated tribute to her.â
Ike Turner Jr.
Tina Turner and Ike Turnerâs son Ike Turner Jr. died one day after his 67th birthday.
Tinaâs niece, Jacqueline Bullock, confirmed the news in a statement to Page Six.
âAs the son of Tina and Ike Turner, from an early age, his talents were evident as there wasnât an instrument he did not want to play,â Bullock shared in part. âWhile he favored the drums early on, my aunt and his mother, Tina Turner, insisted that he break down his drum kit after each practice. This led him to favor the keys. Eventually, Junior would end up helping to run Bolic Sound Studios, the recording studios founded by his father, Ike Turner.â
The musician died of kidney failure, TMZ reported. He had been battling serious heart issues for years and his health had been declining, Bullock told the outlet.
Tina adopted Ike Jr. and son Michael at an early age from Ike Sr.âs previous relationship with Lorraine Taylor. Ike Jr. went on to become a successful musician in his own right, and he worked with both his parents professionally. He worked as Tinaâs sound engineer after her split from his father, and won a Grammy with Ike Sr. in 2007 for Best Traditional Blues Album for âRisinâ With The Blues.ââ
Jane GoodallÂ
Renowned conservationist Jane Goodall has died at the age of 91.
The researcher âpassed away due to natural causesâ while in California for a speaking tour, an Instagram statement released by her institute read.
âDr. Goodallâs discoveries as an ethologist revolutionized science, and she was a tireless advocate for the protection and restoration of our natural world,â the institute shared.
Goodallâs best known for her 60 years of research on chimpanzees, which she started in the 1960s when she entered the Gombe National Park in Tanzania.
Joshua Allen
âSo You Think You Can Danceâ alum Joshua Allen died on Sept. 30. He was 36.
Allenâs family member confirmed the news to TMZ and asked fans for âprivacy and prayers.â
The relative declined to share Allenâs cause of death.
The dancer rose to fame when he won âSYTYCDâ in 2008. The late Stephen âtWitchâ Boss, who died by suicide in December 2022, was his runner-up.
Bill âPapaâ Putman, Barb âNeeneeâ Putman and Megan Putman
Bill âPapaâ Putman, his wife, Barb âNeeneeâ Putman and their daughter-in-law Megan Putman died in a car crash on Sept. 26.
âThey have gone home to be with the Lord,â the rest of the Putman family announced via a statement.
The New York Post reported that a semi-truck hit the familyâs jeep after running a stop sign.
Meghanâs husband, Blake Putman, and their three children â Lulu, Alena and Noah â and their niece Gia were also involved in the accident.
The four were hospitalized.
Makena White
Makena White, the girlfriend of professional golfer Jake Knapp, has died at age 28.
Whiteâs friend announced that she passed in an Instagram post shared to Whiteâs account on Sept. 26.
âShe is already so deeply missed by her Dad, her family, her friends, and of course by Nelly and Fergie,â the friend captioned the post, referring to Whiteâs two dogs.
Brett James
Country music songwriter Brett James died in a private plane crash alongside his wife, Melody Carole Wilson, and his stepdaughter, Meryl Maxwell Wilson.
James was 57, Melody was 59 and Meryl had just turned 28.
The Cirrus SR22T, a small-engine plane registered to James, went down on the afternoon of Sept. 18 near Iotla Valley Elementary School in Franklin, NC.
The plane, which contained three people, had departed from Nashville hours prior.
James is survived by his four adult children, whom he shared with his first wife, Sandra Cornelius-Little.
Robert Redford
Iconic actor Robert Redford died on Sept. 16 at age 89.
The âButch Cassidy and the Sundance Kidâ starâs passing was confirmed to the New York Times by Rogers & Cowan PMK chief executive Cindi Berger.
Redford died in his sleep in his home outside of Provo, Utah, according to the spokesperson, who did not specify the Oscar winnerâs cause of death.
The Sundance Institute founder is survived by his wife, Sibylle Szaggars.
Redford was also the father of two surviving children, Shauna and Amy, whom he shared with his ex-wife, Lola Van Wagenen, as well as seven grandchildren.
The former couple, who were married from 1958 to 1985, also shared two sons â Scott, who died as an infant, and James, who lost his battle to liver cancer in 2020.
Ricky Hatton
The World Boxing Association revealed on Sept. 13 that boxer Ricky Hatton has died at 46 years old.
âA true champion, an indomitable spirit, and a legend of the sport,â the statement read. âYour legacy will live on in every fight and in the hearts of boxing fans around the world.â
Greater Manchester Police claimed âthere are not currently believed to be any suspicious circumstancesâ regarding the athleteâs death, according to NBC News.
Polly Holliday
Polly Holliday, known for her role as Flo in âAlice,â died on Sept. 9.
The actress died at her home in New York following years of health issues, her agent, Denise Aspland, told The New York Times.
Itâs believed her death is the result of pneumonia, according to People.
She was 88 years old.
Holliday was the last surviving star of âAlice,â which ran on CBS for 9 seasons from 1976 to 1985. She earned four Emmy nominations for the role.
Holliday also had notable roles in films, including playing Marva in 1998âs âParent Trap,â and Mrs. Deagle in 1984âs âGremlins.â
The Alabama native also had roles in âMrs. Doubtfire,â âHome Improvement,â and âThe Golden Girls:â
Kelsey Bateman
Former âRock of Loveâ contestant Kelsey Bateman died. She was 39.
The reality star, who appeared in the third and final season of the VH1 dating show in 2009, died âunexpectedly,â her family told TMZ.
No cause of death was revealed.
Bateman was just 21 years old when she competed against 22 women to date rocker Bret Michaels.
âRock of Love with Bret Michaelsâ ran from 2007 to 2009. The third season, which was titled âRock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels,â featured the women living on tour buses and traveling with the Poison frontman.
Bateman became one of the final nine women competing to be Michaelsâ girlfriend, but was eliminated in the seventh episode of the third season.
Jerry Adler
Actor Jerry Adler, known for his roles in âThe Sopranosâ and âThe Good Wife,â has died. He was 96.
The Brooklyn, NY, nativeâs family announced his death via an online obituary.
âJerry Adler passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 96,â a message on the website reads. âBorn on February 4, 1929, Jerry was a resident of New York, New York.â
Adlerâs official cause of death was not immediately known. However, his rep told Page Six exclusively, âHe passed peacefully in his sleep in New York City.â
David Ketchum
David Ketchum â âGet Smartâsâ hilarious Agent 13 â has died at the age of 97.
The actor died Aug.10 in a Thousand Oaks, Calif. care center, his daughter Nicole Madden confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter.
âHe leaves behind a legacy of laughter, warmth and timeless television moments â reminding us all that sometimes, the simplest surprise (like someone perched in a mailbox) can yield the biggest smile,â his family told the outlet in a statement on Aug. 22.
The prolific actor also appeared in âThe Andy Griffith Show,â âWonder Woman,â âM*A*S*H,â and âLaverne & Shirley,â among many others.
Ketchum is survived by his wife Louise, daughters Wendy and Nicole, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Terence Stamp
âSupermanâ star Terence Stamp died on Aug. 17. He was 87.
âHe leaves behind an extraordinary body of work, both as an actor and as a writer that will continue to touch and inspire people for years to come,â the actorâs family told Reuters in a statement.
âWe ask for privacy at this sad time,â they added.
Stampâs cause of death was not revealed.
Tristan Rogers
Tristan Rogers, best known as âGeneral Hospitalâ mainstay Robert Scorpio, has died at the age of 79.
âHe loved being Scorpio and he created that role from nothing,â Rogersâ manager Meryl Soodak told ABC 7 Eyewitness News on August 15, of the actor â who had been diagnosed with cancer in July 2025.Â
âHe was supposed to work a day and he ended up making it into something huge. He was just a genuinely loyal, kind human being and he loved his family.â
Frank Valentini, the showâs executive producer, told People that âthe entire General Hospital family is heartbroken to hear of Tristan Rogersâ passing.â
Valentini added, âTristan has captivated our fans for 45 years and Port Charles will not be the same without him (or Robert Scorpio). I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to his family and friends during this difficult time. Tristan was a one-of-a-kind talent and will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace.â

Danielle Spencer
Danielle Spencer, the former child star best known for her role as Dee Thomas on âWhatâs Happening!!,â died on Aug. 11 following complications from cancer. She was 60.
Spencerâs friend and Haywood Nelson revealed the heartbreaking news in an Instagram post.
âDr. Dee, our brilliant, loving, positive, pragmatic warrior, without fail, has finally found her release from the clutches of this world and a body. We celebrate Danielle Spencer and her contributions as we regret to inform her departure and transition from a long battle with cancer,â Nelson captioned the post.

Bobby Whitlock
Musician Bobby Whitlock has died. He was 77.
The Derek & the Dominos co-founder passed away in Texas at 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 10 âafter a brief illness,â his rep told TMZ.
âHow do you express in but a few words the grandness of one man who came from abject poverty in the south to heights unimagined in such a short time?â his wife, Coco Carmel Whitlock, told the outlet in a statement.
âMy love Bobby looked at life as an adventure taking me by the hand leading me through a world of wonderment from music to poetry and painting. I feel his hands that were so intensely expressive and warm on my face and the small of my back whenever I close my eyes, he is there.â
Bobby co-founded his blues band in 1970 alongside pal Eric Clapton. They released their rock album, âLayla and Other Assorted Love Songs,â the following year.
T-Hood
Rapper T-Hood reportedly died on Aug. 8 after he was attacked at a home in Atlanta.
His family confirmed the music artistâs death to local outlet Channel 2 Action News.
Police found the Perculatorâ hitmaker (whose real name is Tevin Hood) had been hit with gunshot wounds after they responded to a call at a property on Lee Road around 7 p.m.
After first responders performed life-saving measures, he was transported to a local hospital where he later died.
Brandon Blackstock

Actress Kelley Mack died on Aug. 2, according to an Instagram announcement shared by Mackâs sister Kathryn on the âChicago Medâ alumâs page. She was 33.
âIt is with indelible sadness that we are announcing the passing of our dear Kelley,â Kathryn shared on Aug. 5. âSuch a bright, fervent light has transitioned to the beyond, where we all eventually must go.â

Per her obituary, the â9-1-1â star died following a battle with glioma of the central nervous system â which is defined by the Mayo Clinic as a âgrowth of cells that starts in the brain or spinal cord.â
Loni Anderson
Loni Anderson died on Aug. 3 â just days before her 80th birthday.
The âWKRP in Cincinnatiâ starâs publicist told Associated Press that the actress suffered from a âprolonged illnessâ and died at a Los Angeles hospital.
âWe are heartbroken to announce the passing of our dear wife, mother and grandmother,â Andersonâs family said in a statement.
Her cause of death was revealed weeks later. Andersonâs death certificate showed she died of an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer called metastatic uterine leiomyosarcoma.
âLeiomyosarcoma is a rare cancer that âmost often starts in the smooth muscle tissue in the uterus, belly, or leg,â per the Mayo Clinic. âIt starts as a growth of cells,â and âoften grows quickly and can move to other parts of the body.â
The Emmy nominee is survived by her husband, Bob Flick, and her two children, Quinton and Deidra.
Rahaman Ali
Rahaman Ali, brother of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali, died August 1. He was 82, according to a Facebook statement shared by the Muhammad Ali Center on August 2.
A cause of death has not yet been released.
âHe was one of the most constant sources of support for Muhammad during this career, and their relationship was a true example of what it means to be âmy brotherâs keeper,ââ wrote president and CEO of the Muhammad Ali Center DeVone Holt in the statement.
According to the center, Rahaman was also a professional boxer, winning â14 out of his 18 professional boutsâ between 1964 and 1972. He then began traveling with Muhammad to support him in his unparalleled career.
Rahaman authored 2019âs âMy Brother, Muhammad Ali â The Definitive Biographyâ and co-authored 2014âs âThatâs Muhammad Aliâs Brother! My Life on the Undercardâ with sports writer H. Ron Brashear.

Grande Ole Opry icon Jeannie Seely died on August 1 at the age of 85, according to People.
The outlet reported that Seely died at Summit Medical Center in Hermitage, Tennessee of complications from an intestinal infection after experiencing health issues following multiple surgeries.
The country music star â who was inducted into the Grande Ole Opry in 1967 â was best known for her hits âDonât Touch Meâ and âCan I Sleep in Your Arms Tonight.â She was awarded a Grammy for the former.
Seely was the first woman to regularly head up Opry segments, and she was still producing music in 2024 â she released her track âSuffertimeâ in 2024.
According to People, Seely is surviving by her cat Corrie, as well as extended friends and family.
Junior Edwards
âSwamp Peopleâ star Junior Edwards had died.
His grandson âLittleâ Willie Edwards took to Facebook on July 26 to share the news with fans.
âRest easy pawpawâŠ.i know your [sic] probably running your hoop nets or doing something crazy inside those pearly gatesâŠyou will be extremely missed pawpaw we love you more than anything!!! Until we meet again,â he wrote, along with a photo of Junior in a boat with Little Willieâs dad, Willie Edwards.

Michael Madsen

Deputies responded to a 911 call at the actorâs Malibu, Calif., home on July 3 after he was found unresponsive. Authorities soon pronounced him dead at the scene.
Law enforcement claims his death is believed to be from natural causes, per the Post.
Though, Madsenâs manager, Ron Smith, later revealed he died from cardiac arrest.
In a statement, the starâs team remembered Madsen as âone of Hollywoodâs most iconic actors, who will be missed by many.â

The actressâ rep Harlan Boll told the outlet that New York police reported her death happened mid-day at her home on May 30. They cited âsuspected natural causes.â
Swit played Houlihan for the showâs entire 11 season run, from 1972 to 1983. She garnered two coveted Emmy Awards for best supporting actress in 1980 and 1982.

The longtime actorâs publicist Melissa Nathan confirmed his death in a statement to the outlet.
âGeorge was a doting family man, a well-loved friend and confidant to all of those lucky enough to have known him,â the statement read. âHe will be missed forever. The family has requested privacy during this time.â
Wendt appeared on all 11 seasons of the beloved NBC comedy and received six Emmy nominations for his role.

Denise Alexander

A rep for the director told the outlet that he passed away âpeacefully in his sleep earlier this weekâ at his home in Los Angeles.
The rep said his death came after a âyears-longâ battle with brain cancer.
Foley made his directorial debut with âRecklessâ starring Daryl Hannah and Aidan Quinn in 1984, and subsequently enjoyed a high-profile directorial career spanning over thirty years.

Charley Scalies
Charley Scalies â a character actor who had roles in both âThe Wireâ and âThe Sopranosâ â died on May 1, his daughter told the Hollywood Reporter.
The actor passed away in a nursing facility in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, after a long battle with Alzheimerâs.
The Philadelphia native appeared in all 12 episodes of âThe Wireâ during the HBO seriesâ second season in 2003. He played Thomas âHorsefaceâ Pakusa â a former union man with a talent for stealing cars.
One year later, Scalies appeared in an episode of âThe Sopranosâ during its fifth season.
Scalies is survived by his wife of 62 years, Angeline, his kids Chuck, Angeline, Tony, Christa and Anne Marie and several grandchildren.
Kirk Medas
âFloribama Shoreâ star Kirk Medas died on May 2. He was 33.

Virginia Giuffre
Virginia Giuffre, a woman who accused the late Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse, died by suicide on April 24, her family said. She was 41.
âGiuffre lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking,â her family said in a statement.
âVirginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors. The actorâs niece Stephanie Hogan confirmed his death, revealing that Adiarte died of pneumonia in a Los Angeles-area hospital, per The Hollywood Reporter.

A spokesperson for Martindaleâs family confirmed his death in a statement obtained by Deadline. The rep told the outlet that the âTic-Tac-Doughâ star was âsurrounded by family and his beloved wife of 49 years, Sandra Martindaleâ at the time of his passing.
The rep did not name Martindaleâs cause of death.

Clem Burke
Blondie drummer Clem Burke died at after a âprivate battle with cancer,â the band wrote in an April 7 Instagram statement.

The reality star reportedly died due to complications from her cancer battle. She was briefly hospitalized the week before she passed away, as the cancer had spread to different parts of her body.

Former âAmerican Idolâ contestant Doug Kiker died at 32 years old.
His sister Angela Evans announced the singerâs death on Facebook March 12.
âHe was sooo loved and will be missed by so many! Your [sic] singing with the Angelâs now Bubba,â Evans wrote.
Kikerâs sister Donna Kiker Carrillos-Ramirez also shared a statement via Facebook, remembering her brother as having the âbiggest smile.â

His husband, Tony Dugdale announced the news of his death on Facebook. Though, he did not reveal any additional details as to Fisher-Beckerâs cause of death.
The actorâs agent, Kim Barry, also confirmed his death, telling Page Six that Fisher-Becker was a âclose personal friend.â

David Johansen
New York Dolls lead singer David Johansen died at his home in New York on Feb. 28. He was 75.
His daughter Leah Hennessey confirmed his passing to Variety.
The family said that Johansenâs death came âafter a decade of profoundly compromised healthâ and that he âpassed away peacefully at home, holding the hands of his wife Mara Hennessey and daughter Leah, in the sunlight surrounded by music and flowers.â
He had been suffering from stage four cancer for the better part of a decade. He was also diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2020 and broke his back in November 2024.

Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawa
Legendary actor Gene Hackman and his pianist wife, Betsy Arakawa, were found dead in their Santa Fe, N.M., home on Feb. 26 alongside their dog.
No foul play is suspected, the countyâs sheriff told the Santa Fe New Mexican the following day.
The Oscar winner, who is survived by three children, wed Arakawa in 1991, with the duo making their final public sighting on a March 2024 dinner date.

According to the Korean Herald, the âBloodhoundsâ actressâs body was discovered in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, by a friend who had plans to meet with her.
Local police are investigating the cause of Sae-ronâs death and have not seen any signs of a break-in.
âWe have not found any signs of foul play as of yet, but we are investigating the circumstances of the death,â a police official reportedly said.
Sae-ron started her acting career as a child in 2009.
Kevyn Major Howard
Canadian actor Kevyn Major Howard died on Valentineâs Day, his family told TMZ on Feb. 15. He was 69.
He had reportedly been battling a respiratory illness for weeks and died surrounded by family and friends at a Las Vegas hospital. An official cause of death was not immediately known.

Singer Sam Moore, who performed as one half of the Grammy-winning R&B duo Sam & Dave, died at the age of 89.
Mooreâs publicist told the Associated Press that the singer passed away in Coral Gables, Florida, on Jan. 10, after suffering complications from a surgery. No additional details were immediately available.
Moore was known for hits like âSoul Manâ and âHold On, Iâm Comin.ââ He was inducted with Dave Prater into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.

An assistant reportedly discovered the filmmakerâs body and called police. According to TMZ, Baena died by suicide, citing law enforcement sources, but an official cause of death was not immediately disclosed.
Baena had been married to actress Audrey Plaza since 2020. They had no children together.
Brenton Wood
Brenton Wood died on Jan. 3 at his home in Moreno Valley, Calif., surrounded by friends and family, the singerâs manager and assistant, Manny Gallegos, told TMZ. He was 83.
Wood, who was born Alfred Jesse Smith, found success with R&B and pop music, and released hits such as âGimme Little Signâ and âBaby You Got It.â

Wayne Osmond
Wayne Osmond died at age 73 on Jan. 1 after suffering a âmassive stroke,â his brother Merrill Osmond announced on Facebook at the time.
The musician wrote in his post, âWhen I learned that my dear brother Wayne had a massive stroke my immediate response was to fall to my knees and pray for him to receive the assurance that his mission had been accomplished, and he was successful in this endeavor in many ways.â
A rep for Wayne added that the singer, who rose to fame with his siblings in the 1950s, passed away âpeacefullyâ while surrounded by his wife, Kathlyn White Osmond, and their five children.
