Aaron Taylor-Johnson is being called a “perfect gentleman” for giving Ariana DeBose a helping hand.

The Golden Globe winner, 34, was captured on film at the New York premiere of their latest superhero movie Kraven The Hunter on Tuesday, Dec. 10, assisting DeBose when her shoe appeared to get caught in her mesh dress, as they stood in front of the crowd at AMC Lincoln Square Theater.

In a now-viral TikTok, shared by user thehijabibounder, Johnson and DeBose, 33, could be seen standing next to each other in front of the theater’s audience, as DeBose tried to quietly maneuver her foot out of a piece of fabric.

After Aaron held her hand and smiled with her, he walked behind his costar, fixed her dress and put his hand on her back before they went about their night. The pair also appeared to quietly laugh about the moment together. During the outing, Aaron wore a sleek black button-down and black dress pants with a burgundy blazer, while DeBose rocked a mesh see-through dress alongside a pair of black shorts.

The clip was complete with overlapping text reading, “One minute of ATJ being a perfect gentleman.”

“But y’all dont know what it was like to witness this,” the TikTok user, real name Sabeen, captioned the clip. “Kraven The Hunter is also a perfecr gentleman, unless you are on his list! The movie is good! Go watch it because I neeed to know what happens next!”

The film — which also features Fred Hechinger, Alessandro Nivola, Christopher Abbott and Russell Crowe — stars Aaron as “a man whose complex relationship with his ruthless gangster father starts him down a path of vengeance with brutal consequences, motivating him to become not only the greatest hunter in the world, but also one of its most feared,” per a synopsis. It arrives in theaters on Dec. 13.

Aaron and his wife, Sam Taylor-Johnson, 57, made their red carpet debut with her two eldest daughters during the outing: Angelica, 27, and Jessie, 18. The couple matched at the premiere in black and burgundy looks.

Sam shares her elder daughters with ex Jay Jopling, while she and Aaron — who wed in 2012 — are parents to daughters Wylda, 13, and Romy, 12.

While speaking with The Guardian in April, the director noted that their daughters don’t seem to have any issue with their relationship age gap. “Not really,” she said when asked if they face any backlash over their parents’ relationship. “Or, if so, I don’t think they care. They see two loving, happy parents so it doesn’t really register. They just think people are a bit mean, or mad.”

Aaron also spoke with Esquire about fatherhood back in August, explaining that by 10 or 11, he already knew he’d have children at a young age. “I was going to have a big family,” Aaron recalled. “I knew I was going to be a young father. I knew I was going to have many kids.”

“Teenagers, man,” the actor added. “I’ve got teenagers.”
