Aaron Rodgers credited his mystery wife, Brittani, for reuniting with his family after years of estrangement.
The NFL quarterback shouted out his wife on Saturday when speaking about his unexpected family reunion.
âThereâs been a lot of conversation about it outside of my own conversations for so many years,â Rodgers told NFL Networkâs Kyle Brandt. âYou know, a big part of it was getting married, and having those conversations with my wife that allowed me to kind of open up to the possibility of coming together.â
He added, âItâs been a couple-year process now, the conversations.â
Rodgers, 42, also said he wanted to âshut downâ a narrative that had gone on for far too long.
âItâs been really beautiful to reconnect with them â all of them,â he said of his parents, Edward and Darla, and his older brother, Luke. âI got to spend a long weekend recently with my parents ⊠my brother and his sweet wife and their incredible two kids. I got to be an uncle.â
He noted that a lot of his life had come full circle in the past year.
âIâm happy to be reunited and that part of my life is a really beautiful addition, and I gotta give my wife a lot of credit for â not that she was pushing me because she never was â but just the way she loves and supports me, having her by my side throughout this process has been really special and I miss those relationships.â
He concluded, âThere were reasons for it that donât need to be talked about, but Iâm thankful that thatâs come back all the way around.â
Earlier this month, Aaron posted Instagram pics posing with both his parents as well as a shot of him with Luke putting together a childâs toy. The heartwarming carousel ended with the Pittsburgh Steelers player hanging out with his niece and nephew.
Aaron also has a younger brother, Jordan, though the âBacheloretteâ alum was not shown in his Instagram post. Jordan is married to âBacheloretteâ star JoJo Fletcher, and they have a 6-month-old daughter, Romy.
In 2016, Jordan aired out the familyâs estrangement from the Super Bowl winner on Season 12 of âThe Bachelorette,â when he said on-camera that Aaron had removed himself from their family.
Meanwhile, Aaron confirmed he was married in June 2025 after he was spotted with a wedding ring, but didnât give any details. Since then, heâs kept a tight lid on revealing any personal details about her.
âI lived in the public eye for 20 years. I had public relationships. How did that work out?â he pointed out during his appearance on âThe Pat McAfee Showâ last June.
âAnd now Iâm with somebody whoâs private, who doesnât want to be in the public eye,â he continued. âDidnât sign up to be a celebrity. Doesnât want to be a part of it.â
