A Blue(y) Christmas!
The popular Australian animated series, which follows Bluey, a Blue Heeler puppy who lives with her dad, mom and little sister Bingo, has two holiday-themed episodes, which are available to stream on Disney+.
Across the series’ three seasons, there is season 1’s “Verandah Santa,” followed by season 2’s “Christmas Swim.”
In “Verandah Santa,” Bluey learns that Santa Claus only visits well-behaved children, which becomes an issue after she becomes agitated with a friend. But, with the help of her other friends, Bluey learns the importance of being kindhearted.
Meanwhile, in “Christmas Swim,” Bluey and her family spend Christmas Day with their extended family.

Earlier this week, it was announced that Bluey is getting the big-screen treatment. The highly-anticipated film will be a Ludo Studio production from BBC Studios and the Walt Disney Company.
Joe Brumm, who created the series, said in a press release, “I really enjoyed the experience of working with a longer format on ‘The Sign’ in [season] 3, so going even further with a feature film feels like a natural extension of that.”
“I’ve always thought Bluey deserved a theatrical movie,” he continued, adding that he wants the upcoming film to be an “experiential event for the whole family to enjoy together.”
