Rylee Arnold is head over heels for her new boyfriend.
Two days after her and Walker Lyons’ “hard launch” via Instagram, the “Dancing With the Stars” pro exclusively spoke to Page Six about her partner’s best qualities.
“He’s just so sweet,” the 19-year-old dancer said of the USC football player, while chatting with us in the ballroom following Tuesday night’s Halloween-themed episode.
“He makes me feel so special and being with him is just so refreshing,” she continued. “It’s so nice to work hard and be here and then spend time with him and kind of unplug. It’s been really awesome.”
Arnold also noted that she and the athlete feel “good” about their “decision” to go Instagram-official over the weekend.
“We both are really strong with each other, so we just thought we would share,” she explained.
While Arnold’s Season 33 “Dancing With the Stars” partner, Stephen Nedoroscik, has yet to meet Lyons, he echoed that the college student “seems like a sweet guy.”
The Olympian, 26, added, “They resonate with each other so much.”
Nedoroscik, for his part, is dating Tess McCracken, who frequently praises his dances on social media.
This week, the gymnast and Arnold performed a contemporary routine set to “I Ran (So Far Away)” for the “Halloween Nightmares” theme — as Nedoroscik is scared of the dark.
Not only did the duo earn a high score of 28/30, but it marked the first time either of them had received a perfect 10 from a judge.
The performance came one day after Nedoroscik rang in his 26th birthday with a special visit from his parents, a cheesecake celebration during rehearsal — and a spontaneous interaction with Donald Glover that made everything “10 times better.”
Nedoroscik called getting recognized by the 41-year-old “Atlanta” star “the coolest thing ever,” saying, “It was insane.”
The bronze medalist went viral during the Paris Olympics in August for his pommel horse routine, with news breaking later that same month that he’d compete on “DWTS.”
Season 33 of “Dancing With the Stars” returns Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+.
