Josh has had it with Natalie’s temper and is insisting it be “fixed” — or their relationship is over!
Tensions flared between the couple on the Jan. 13 episode of 90 Day: The Last Resort, during what was supposed to be a steamy session with their sex therapist. But things quickly went south when Josh was hesitant to take part in the same syrup-licking exercise that the other five couples participated in.
Natalie was eager to share some sensual moments with Josh, but he did not reciprocate that energy — especially when it was his turn to lick the syrup off of Natalie.
At first, instead of licking the syrup off, Josh used a towel to start wiping the sticky substance off Natalie’s body — and she was not pleased.
“I want you to kiss me!” she insisted.
Josh gave her a few pecks where the syrup once sat, but Natalie still was not satisfied.
Then, the roles were reversed. Still, Josh appeared to be uncomfortable with the exercise. “I do not like PDA at all,” he explained. “I like to have my moments with her in private.”
In an effort to help, the therapist left the room to allow the couple to perform the exercise and share some intimate moments with each other. But still, Josh was reluctant to participate.
Afterward, Natalie excitedly invited the therapist back into the room. But her mood turned quickly after Josh revealed they are often at odds with each other shortly after being intimate.
“I feel like it’s maybe like, more things are expected of me,” Josh said. He later claimed Natalie “wants a lot more of me and my time,” but that he does not want his schedule “disturbed.”
Natalie offered to integrate herself into Josh’s life, and reminded him of her desire to start a family with him. “You said we were going to work on it!” she exclaimed.
But Josh pushed back, telling Natalie, “I’ve never agreed to have a family with you.”
Finally, Natalie was fed up. “I deserve time. I do!” she cried. “Even Donald Trump has time for his wife, and he is a million times busier than you.”
Josh suggested time would not solve their problems, but Natalie still pressed the issue. “What is it then? Name it! Give it a name!” she demanded.
“I think that’s why we’re here trying to figure it out,” Josh responded.
Eventually, Josh admitted he wanted to see if they could have a “normal” relationship. But after yet another outburst from Natalie, he gave her an ultimatum.
“I’m hoping that being here is going to help calm some of this lashing out at everybody. I need that to be fixed,” Josh explained. If not, he added, “there’s no relationship, 100%, because I can’t bring that around my family.”
However, Natalie’s dramatics continued. “Maybe you just take [a] knife and kill me!” Natalie told Josh, who seemed to suggest he needed more time to get to a healthy place with her.
“A normal man would not make me feel insecure,” Natalie argued, later suggesting that his critiques feel like a dagger to her heart.
Despite Josh and the therapist’s attempts to reason with Natalie, she opted to end therapy early for the day. Natalie shooed the therapist out of the room, and slammed the door behind her before storming out of the room herself.
“I’m not really sure what’s in store for them, given the complete breakdown in communication that I witnessed today,” the therapist told producers. “In order for Natalie to really commit to this process, she’s going to have to regulate her emotions and really sit with herself so that she can move forward.”
