5 Super Bowl-Worthy Outfits Inspired by Our Favorite NFL WAGs

Can we get a replay? We need to see these celeb game-day outfits one more time.

From Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes in creative red and white looks to support their Kansas City Chiefs partners to Simone Biles in a matching set covered with images of her Chicago Bears-playing husband, the past few NFL seasons have athletes’ wives and girlfriends showing they have real game — style game, that is. We’re also following Hailee Steinfeld, the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen’s bride-to-be, and Olivia Culpo, wife of the San Francisco 49ers’ Christian McCaffrey, since they make even sporty track jackets and basic crewnecks look cute.

With the Super Bowl just a week away, we’re looking to recreate our favorite WAG style moments. We rounded up five looks anyone can pull off and found similar pieces for those of us without box seat budgets. Shop casual sweatshirts, warm jackets, team hats, and more from stores like Baublebar, Lululemon, Spanx, and Amazon.

Taylor Swift

Swift’s romance with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce may be “So High School,” but her game-day style is advanced. Some days, she wears designer outfits that cost over $20k, while other days, she shows up in affordable team styles from Wear by Erin Andrews (including this $44 Baublebar necklace set!).

One of our favorite looks from this season was the Louis Vuitton half-zip Swift paired with dark skinny jeans. The functional outfit looked comfortable yet polished enough to wear around your partner and their family. Her designer sweater is surely pricey, but Spanx sells one that’s similar, and you can grab slim-cut jeans under $40 from Old Navy and Amazon.

Brittany Mahomes

Mahomes, a former soccer player and now co-owner of the Kansas City Current, cheered on her QB husband in a winter white maxi coat back in December, inspiring us to shop for something similarly warm and elegant. Thankfully, there’s no shortage of coats in the seasonal color, so we pulled peacoats, puffers (another style in her playbook), and more coats, plus accessories like cowboy boots and the BaubleBar necklace she wore this season — all under $150.

Hailee Steinfeld

The newly engaged Steinfeld and Josh Allen, the Buffalo Bills quarterback, have their relationship relatively private — especially compared to Swift and Kelce — which made a recent sighting even sweeter: The Pitch Perfect 2 actress was seen in the background of a fellow WAG’s Instagram Story sporting a casual jacket and a Bills cap, and she looked totally relaxed, comfortable, and appropriately, sporty.

With track pants dominating celeb style at the moment, we predict track jackets will be next. This one from Gap is a cotton fabric, so it’s not going to be loud and swishy like nylon, and it comes in sizes XXS to XXL. Sure, you could pick up a Bills hat to boot, or perhaps a plain one if your loyalty lies with another team.

Simone Biles

Biles took the title of number one fan to the next level earlier in the season: A jersey number wasn’t enough for her, so, of course, she wore a two-piece set decked out with pictures of her husband’s, Jonathan Owens’, face.  Matching sets have also been making strides off the field and outside the stadium with unspoken fans like Martha Stewart, Jennifer Lopez, and Oprah also wearing them.

We found a few different options, so you can rep “Da Bears” like Biles or snuggle up in the Spanx set one PEOPLE editor says makes her “feel more confident” than more classic loungewear.

Olivia Culpo

Culpo, a former Miss Universe, threw on a laidback look in 2023 for a “weekend of puppies, parents, and football” — just a few months before she and Christian McCaffrey, who plays on the San Francisco 49ers, got married. While she wore a Dolce & Gabbana gown for the latter, she went much more casual for the former in a team crewneck, some high-waisted jeans, and knee-high boots.

High-rise bottoms are useful for days when you might need a little extra support. Case in point: One shopper said, “I wore them to a hockey game and could sit for hours and eat arena food and never got uncomfortable.” Pair that with a tall boot like these to elongate your legs and make tired jeans and sweatshirt ’fit look fresh again.

We can’t tell you what team to support, but we can convince you to dress like these A-list WAGs. Keep scrolling to shop more styles inspired by the likes of Taylor Swift, Simone Biles, and Hailee Steinfeld.
