With Spider-Man: Brand New Day swinging into theaters this weekend, you’re probably tempted to venture outside and watch Tom Holland’s heroic webhead save Zendaya’s not-so-distressed damsel MJ — again.

Watch With Us is here to tell you to stay in, drink lots of coffee and prepare yourself for an avalanche of new movies to watch.

Hulu leads the pack of new films this weekend with the hit comedy The Devil Wears Prada 2, which brings back Meryl Streep’s iconic Miranda Priestly for a scathing take on modern fashion and the media industry. It also has some really, really chic clothes.

Peacock is streaming The Super Mario Galaxy Movie for the kids and Nintendo fans in the household, while adults can watch Netflix’s murder mystery, A Private Affair, or HBO Max’s aptly titled drama, The Drama, with Robert Pattinson.

If you want to turn your brain off and watch attractive twentysomethings run swim for their lives, Prime Video’s survival thriller The Devil’s Mouth should appeal to you.

‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ (2026) – Hulu and Disney+

Fashion trends come and go, but you know what always remains in style? The Devil Wears Prada. The 2006 comedy is a rewatchable classic beloved by almost everyone who has seen it, so it was only a matter of time before Fox and Disney greenlit a sequel. Last May, The Devil Wears Prada 2 kicked off 2026’s summer season with a bang, grossing nearly $700 million at the worldwide box office and receiving surprisingly respectable reviews from critics wary of a cash-grab sequel.

When she’s unexpectedly laid off at her newspaper job, NYC reporter Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) has no choice but to accept an offer to return to Runway, the iconic fashion magazine where she once served as Miranda Priestly’s (Meryl Streep) second assistant. Miranda fully lived up to her “devil” nickname then, and while times have changed, the sharply dressed, silver-haired editor-in-chief is still quick to cut anyone – especially Andy – down to size. But Runway is in trouble and so is Miranda’s career, and the only person that can help is – you guessed it – Andy.

‘The Drama’ (2026) – HBO Max

Emma Harwood (Zendaya) has a secret to tell, and she’s not sure how her friends or fiancé, Charlie (Robert Pattinson), will take it. She eventually finds out when, during a dinner with another couple, Emma and Charlie reveal each other’s darkest secrets. Charlie’s is relatively innocuous, but Emma’s is so disturbing, it ruins the dinner – and threatens to derail her upcoming nuptials to Charlie. Now that he knows everything about her, is Charlie willing to love her for who she really is, for better or for worse?

When it was released earlier this spring, everyone was talking about The Drama – and how they would react if someone close to them had revealed a secret as shocking as Emma’s. The movie isn’t just an empty provocation, though – it’s a genuinely insightful examination of how some couples want to idealize each other rather than truly get to know them. It’s also wickedly funny, with top-notch performances from Zendaya, Pattinson and Alana Haim as a friend who acts more like an enemy.

‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ (2026) – Peacock

In The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, it’s deja vu as another princess has been kidnapped by a Bowser. This time around, it’s Princess Rosalina (Brie Larson) held captive by Bowser Jr. (Benny Safdie) so he can drain her energy powers to fuel his universe-destroying weapon. Mario (Chris Pratt), Peach (Anya Taylor-Joy) and the rest of the gang aren’t going to let that happen, but they’re going to need all the help they can get when Bowser Jr. hides in the Honeyhive Galaxy. With new friends Yoshi (Donald Glover) and Starfox (Glen Powell) joining them as they pursue Bowser Jr. across the stars, they might have a chance at saving Rosalina and saving the universe.

A successful follow-up to the even more successful The Super Mario Bros. Movie, The Super Mario Galaxy Movie has everything you liked in the first film – bright colors, a star-studded vocal cast, numerous Nintendo Easter eggs and lame but funny jokes – only more of it. Maybe too much, as the film can feel overstuffed at times. But it’s still a fun space adventure romp, with Black as funny as ever as the absentee dad Bowser and the rest of the new additions all nailing their iconic roles. Here’s hoping the next sequel will be a relatively straightforward adaptation of Super Mario Kart, with a menacing Wario played by Robert De Niro. Hey, a Nintendo fan can dream …

‘The Devil’s Mouth’ (2026) – Prime Video

College is almost over, but five friends want to embark on one last adventure before saying goodbye. They decide to embark on a diving expedition in The Devil’s Mouth, a remote cave system in Thailand. With an experienced diver, Wat (Tayme Thapthimthong), guiding them, they should be safe, but as Sara (Kathryn Newton), Greg (Gavin Casalegno) and the rest quickly find out, an apex predator is lurking nearby, and it’s awfully hungry.

Prime Video specializes in bingeable YA adaptations, and this cheesy blend of coming-of-age drama and shark thriller (think of it as The Summer I Turned Into Jaws’ Next Meal) is slightly embarrassing and almost always entertaining. It’s entertaining to see these friends turn on each other as they are forced to survive nature’s worst. The Devil’s Mouth‘s major flaw is that it’s rated PG-13, so it can’t fully become the bloody exploitation flick it longs to be.

‘A Private Life’ (2025) – Netflix

Dr. Lilian Steiner (Jodie Foster) values privacy – her own and her clients’, who share their most intimate secrets with her in their one-on-one therapy sessions with her. But when one of them, Paula (Virginie Efira), suddenly kills herself, she’s forced to become nosy and find out what happened. Her primary suspect is Valerie (Luàna Bajrami), Paula’s daughter, who deeply resented her – but is that enough of a motive to kill someone? With the cops useless, it’s up to Lilian to investigate – but she might not like the outcome.

Are you ready to scream in July? Watch With Us means that literally and figuratively, as Netflix just added the first three films in the Scream franchise. Scream is consistently ranked as one of the best horror movies ever, but it’s also one of the most rewatchable films of all time. Thank You! You have […]

A Private Life is a thriller that focuses more on characters than plot. As the seemingly put-together Lilian, Foster gives a terrific performance, slowly peeling away at the psychiatrist’s perfect veneer until only a fragile woman remains. This French-language suspense film is a rare thriller that prioritizes realism over cheap thrills, which makes the identity of the culprit all the more shocking – and believable.
