A glum Joseph Duggar was photographed for his mugshot after he was arrested for allegedly molesting a 9-year-old girl.
The â19 and Countingâ alum appeared sullen in the headshot photo, released by the Washington County Jail.
A family spokesperson told Page Six the Duggars do not have a statement at this time.
On Wednesday, the Bay County Sheriffâs Office announced the former reality TV star, 31, had been arrested and accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl in Florida.
He was charged with lewd and lascivious behavior involving a victim younger than the age of 12 and lewd and lascivious behavior toward a victim aged 18 or older.
Per their statement, investigators at Bay County were contacted by a detective from the Tontitown Police Department in Arkansas, regarding a report of past sexual abuse.
âThe 14-year-old victim participated in a forensic interview, where she disclosed several incidents involving Duggar that occurred during a family vacation in Panama City Beach when she was 9-years-old,â the statement continued.
Per their investigation, the incidents allegedly took place in 2020 during a family vacation, with the victim reporting that Duggar ârepeatedly asked her to sit on his lap.â
He allegedly would also ask her to sit next to him on a couch before covering them up and touching her privates. Duggar would allegedly rub his hands on her thighs as well.
The victim recalled Duggar allegedly stopping after apologizing for his actions.
On March 17, 2026, the father of the victim confronted Duggar about the incidents with the businessman admitting his actions to him and the Tontitown detectives.
He was ultimately arrested. Page Six confirmed Duggar remains behind bars at the Washington County jail in Arkansas and hasnât been officially booked.
Arkansas police tells us charges will be announced after booking and he will then be extradited to Bay County.
