Nvlt Embroidered Eyelet Short-Sleeve Button-Up Shirt

Linen and cotton are go-tos for spring and summer because they’re really breathable. But Witherspoon has shown us that it’s not always about the fabric; it can also be about what’s on the fabric. Eyelets, which she wore both earlier this month and last spring, are tiny, intentional cutouts that actually let air flow in and out of a garment, allowing the wearer to feel a gentle breeze. It’s like cracking a window open at night — it helps with temperature regulation. 

And this shirt from Nordstrom Rack has them sprinkled all over. Plus, it’s short-sleeved and made from cotton, so it’s about as breezy as a shirt can get. The white hue also matches the fragrant flowers, Easter bunny, and host of other things that pop up at this time of year.

Aside from anything with puff-sleeves, there’s another trend Witherspoon won’t stop wearing: flare jeans. We saw her leave behind her bootcut bottoms for the leg-elongating ones three separate times in recent memory, but she’s also been a fan for years.
